Okay, I just watched Pretear about a month ago or so, and I thought it was good for the most part. The artwork is good, and it certainly kept me interested until the end (Which it lasted only thirteen episodes. I would usually say that it was too short, but I think it was a good idea because if it lasted longer, than it would've just gotten boring).
On the other hand, it reminded me of Sailor Moon (Which for Sailor Moon fans, I think you would like a lot), and it was too much like Cinderella and Snow White. Then, for those who like tragic endings, then you might not like Pretear.
All in all, I would give it a three out of five.
